Job summary

Royal Farms in Cambridge, MD is seeking a Team Leader to run store operations during shifts and act as the Person in Charge in the absence of a senior leader. You will support management in delivering outstanding customer service, product availability, and execution of food service programs.

The role includes supervising team members, training staff, ensuring safety and cash controls, and maintaining store standards. Availability for second/third shifts, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Must possess strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Must possess strong supervisory and organizational skills.
• Demonstrated strong leadership skills.
• Demonstrated ability to encourage, inspire, and develop team members.

Responsibilities

• Oversee shift operations as the Person in Charge when a senior lead is not present.
• Assist store management in customer service, product availability, and execution of programs.
• Serve as Certified Trainer, onboarding and coaching team members with feedback.
• Ensure safety, cash controls, and compliance with policies and procedures.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and manage store conditions for customers.
