Meijer Inc. is seeking an experienced store leader to oversee day-to-day operations, mentor staff, and drive customer service excellence. This role focuses on staffing, sales performance, and maintaining store standards across departments.

You will guide teams through development paths and ensure safety and operational efficiency. Ideal candidates bring at least 1 year of management experience in retail, plus the ability to handle multiple tasks and resolve conflicts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or its equivalent required.
• 2-3 years of related retail experience.
• One year of management experience.
• Rotational assignments in other areas of the store helpful.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly within the organization.
• Demonstrated ability to resolve conflict and address root causes.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Ability to analyze financial and statistical information to inform decisions.
• Proven leadership in a safety-focused environment.
• Mentor team members across roles including hourly staff.
• Successful completion of required certifications.

• Plan, direct, and supervise team members in daily store operations.
