Job summary

Goodwill of North Georgia is seeking a Store Supervisor to oversee daily operations, supervise staff on shift, and ensure store standards are met. You will open/close the store as key holder and lead training for team members.

The role requires a high school diploma, 2-3 years retail experience, strong communication, forklift certification, and proficiency with Microsoft Office, with ability to work varied hours including weekends.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2-3 years of retail experience.
• Associates degree preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication in English; bilingual a plus.
• Must be certified and licensed to operate a forklift.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Must start employment in safety work shoes.
• Able to adapt to growth and changing environment within the Agency.
• Able to work in all conditions including heat, cold and dust.
• Available to work Monday through Sunday during operating hours.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all store personnel during assigned shift to ensure standards.
• Open and/or close the store as key holder on duty.
• Develop, train and coach team members for career growth.
• Comply with SOPs and safety policies and procedures.
• Greet and assist donors/customers; ensure service is efficient.
• Assist and resolve complaints and communicate issues to management.
• Maintain proficiency for tasks in all workstations.
• Monitor and maintain store appearance and housekeeping.
• Perform and assist in all functions completed by store personnel.
• Transfer to any Goodwill of North Georgia store within the territory as needed.
• Attend meetings and training as required by the agency.
