Job summary

Goodwill of North Georgia is seeking a Store Supervisor to lead and supervise store personnel on assigned shifts, ensuring operational standards are met. The role includes opening/closing duties as key holder, coaching staff for growth, and maintaining customer service excellence.

Responsibilities include adherence to policies, resolving complaints, maintaining store appearance, and accurate record keeping.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2-3 years of retail experience.
• Associates degree or related coursework preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication in English; interpersonal skills emphasized; bilingual a plus.
• Forklift certification required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Must wear safety footwear and adapt to growth and change.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all store personnel during assigned shift to ensure operational standards are met.
• Open and/or close the store as key holder/team leader on duty.
• Develop, train, coach and support team members for career growth.
• Comply with SOPs and agency safety and security policies.
• Greet and assist donors/customers; ensure excellent service.
• Address and resolve customer complaints with management input.
• Maintain proficiency for tasks across all workstations.
• Monitor store appearance and housekeeping to standards.
• Perform all functions completed by store personnel.
• Maintain company records and reports accurately and timely.
• Attend required meetings and trainings.
• Transfer to other Goodwill of North Georgia stores as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
