Job summary

Goodwill of North Georgia is seeking a Store Supervisor to oversee staff, open/close the store as a key holder, and guide team development. The role emphasizes excellent customer service for donors and shoppers, adherence to SOPs, and safety protocols.

You will coordinate training, handle complaints, maintain store presentation, and may assist across locations within the territory. Must have a HS diploma, retail experience, and forklift certification.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2–3 years of experience in retail.
• Associates Degree or related coursework preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication in English; bilingual a plus.
• Must be certified and licensed to operate a forklift.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and standard office software.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all store personnel during assigned shift to meet standards.
• Open/close the store as key holder/team leader on duty.
• Develop, train, coach and support team members for career growth.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, safety and security policies.
• Greet and assist donors/customers and provide efficient service.
• Resolve complaints and communicate issues to management.
• Maintain store appearance and housekeeping per agency standards.
• Transfer to other Goodwill stores within the territory as needed.
