Job summary

Goodwill of North Georgia is seeking a store supervisor to lead daily operations, supervise team members, open/close the store as key holder, and ensure service standards.

The role focuses on coaching staff, maintaining store appearance, handling customer concerns, and staying compliant with SOPs and safety policies. Must have strong English communication and be forklift-certified; MS Office proficiency is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2-3 years retail experience.
• Associates degree or related coursework preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication in English; bilingual a plus.
• Must be forklift certified and able to operate related equipment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Able to work all shift conditions and meet physical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all store personnel during assigned shift to ensure standards.
• Open or close the store as key holder on duty.
• Develop, train, coach and support team members for career growth.
• Comply with agency SOPs and safety policies.
• Greet and assist donors/customers and ensure service is efficient.
• Resolve complaints and communicate issues to management.
• Maintain store appearance and housekeeping to agency standards.
• Assist in all functions and maintain company records and reports.
• Attend meetings and training; may transfer to other Goodwill stores as needed.
