Job summary

Goodwill of North Georgia is seeking a Store Supervisor to lead daily store operations and ensure exceptional donor/customer service during assigned shifts. You'll open/close the store as a key holder, coach team members, maintain SOPs, and partner with management to meet performance standards across safety, cleanliness, and records accuracy.

Experience in retail, forklift certification, and strong English communication are required; bilingual is a plus and willingness to work weekends is

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2–3 years of experience in retail.
• Associates Degree or related retail management coursework preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication in English; bilingual a plus.
• Must be forklift certified and able to operate forklift safely.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
• Able to meet physical requirements and lift up to 30 lbs.
• Willing to work Monday through Sunday as needed.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all store personnel during assigned shift to meet operational standards.
• Open and/or close the store as key holder on duty.
• Develop, train and coach team members for career growth.
• Comply with SOPs and agency safety policies.
• Greet and assist donors/customers, ensuring efficient service.
• Address complaints and communicate issues to management.
• Maintain proficiency for tasks across all workstations.
• Monitor store appearance and housekeeping to agency standards.
• Maintain and prepare all required store records and reports.
• Attend meetings and training as required.
• Transfer to other Goodwill of North Georgia stores as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
