Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking an experienced store leadership professional to plan, direct, and supervise daily operations across store departments. You will mentor staff, manage staffing and performance, and drive sales while maintaining customer service excellence.

The role requires 2-3 years in retail with at least 1 year in a supervisory capacity, strong communication, conflict resolution, and the ability to analyze financials and manage multiple tasks. A focus on safety and training is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2-3 years of related retail experience.
• 1 year of management experience.
• Rotational assignments in different store areas.
• Strong communication to provide clear direction.
• Ability to resolve conflicts and address root causes.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and analyze financial data.
• Experience teaching suggestive selling and mentorship.
• Commitment to safe work practices and training compliance.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and supervise day-to-day store operations and staff.
