Job summary

Crate & Barrel is seeking a Team Leader, Trade to guide a designated team on the sales floor, balance staffing with customer needs, and drive daily sales results. You will mentor associates, provide feedback, and help them grow within the store environment.

In this role, you will collaborate with the Assistant Store Leader to train staff on product knowledge, customer service, and company policies while ensuring exceptional service and operational excellence across shifts.

• 1+ years customer service or retail leadership experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to execute and drive results.

Responsibilities

• Lead designated team and manage associate workload as determined in partnership with the Assistant Store Leader
• Coach associates on exceptional performance and maintain a strong visible presence in the department/work area
• Support performance and development for the designated team to encourage professional growth
• Provide specific and timely feedback about performance to associates
• Partner with the Assistant Store Leader to train and develop associates on product knowledge, selling, customer service, operations, visual, policies and procedures
• Understand and follow company policies including loss prevention, security and safety guidelines
• Promote sales as they pertain to position and acting as Leader On Duty
• Communicate regularly with the Assistant Store Leader to review business results and customer feedback
