Job summary

Crate and Barrel is seeking a Team Leader, Design & Trade to drive daily operations of the design and trade business, coach the team, and achieve sales goals. You will lead customer experience initiatives, mentor staff, and partner with the Design Coordinator on appointment management and replenishment.

This role requires strong communication, organization, and a hands-on leadership presence on the sales floor.

Qualifications

• 1+ years customer service or retail leadership experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, Google applications, computer systems and tablet devices.
• Full-Time roles: open availability to work flexible hours on weekdays, evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead designated team and manage associate workload as determined in partnership with the Assistant Store Leader.
• Coach associates on exceptional performance and maintain a strong visible presence in the department/work area.
• Support performance and development for the designated team to encourage professional growth.
• Provide specific and timely feedback about performance directly to associates and share observations with the Assistant Store Leader.
• Train and develop associates on product knowledge, selling, customer service, operations, visual, policies and procedures as applicable.
• Understand company systems, policies and procedures including loss prevention, security and safety guidelines.
• Promote sales as they pertain to or are driven by the Leader On Duty role.
• Communicate with the Assistant Store Leader to review business results and customer feedback.
