Job summary

Crate & Barrel is seeking a Team Leader for Design Services & Trade to drive daily operations, coach the team, and deliver exceptional service while achieving sales goals. You will lead design desk activities, mentor staff, and partner with the Design Coordinator on appointments and replenishment.

You’ll support business development through Trade and pipeline management, acting on store KPIs to maximize design services performance. Strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

• 1+ years customer service or retail leadership experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, Google applications, computer systems and tablet devices.
• Full-Time roles: open availability to work flexible hours on weekdays, evenings and weekends.
• Willingness to spend significant time on the sales floor coaching and assisting customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead designated team and manage associate workload as determined in partnership with the Assistant Store Leader.
• Coach associates on exceptional performance and maintain a strong visible presence in the department/work area.
• Support performance and development for the designated team to encourage professional growth.
• Provide timely feedback about performance directly to associates and share observations with the Assistant Store Leader.
• Train associates on product knowledge, selling, customer service, operations, and visual standards.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and safety guidelines while focusing on sales and leadership duties.
• Communicate regularly with the Assistant Store Leader to review business results and customer feedback.
