Job summary

DICK’S Sporting Goods is seeking a Store Leadership role to drive exceptional athlete experiences and uphold merchandising standards across departments. You will guide teams, manage schedules, and execute plans to achieve payroll and financial goals.

The ideal candidate has 1-3 years in retail with leadership experience, a focus on customer-facing excellence, and a passion for sport. This is a full-time, on-site position in a fast-paced store environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 1-3 years of experience.
• Previous retail/customer-facing experience required.
• Previous people leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding athlete experiences by providing clear, accurate, and knowledgeable information about products and assortment.
• Uphold merchandising and presentation standards by following floor sets, signage, price changes, and inventory presentation.
• Promote and lead company programs such as loyalty participation, warranty sales, and private label enrollment.
• Develop and support 30-60-90 day plans with store leadership to meet business priorities.
• Build schedules and assign workloads to maximize efficiencies while meeting goals.
• Act as Head Coach during lead responsibilities, including opening/closing and teammate supervision.
• Communicate departmental goals and progress to direct reports and adjust plans as needed.
