Job summary

DICK’S Sporting Goods, Inc. is seeking store leadership to deliver exceptional athlete experiences by anticipating needs and providing knowledgeable product guidance.

You will work with leadership to develop plans, train teammates, and uphold merchandising standards to meet business goals. As Head Coach in store operations, you will supervise front-end activities, coordinate merchandising, and drive payroll and performance outcomes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• 1-3 years of experience
• Previous retail/customer-facing experience required.
• Previous people leadership experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding athlete experiences by anticipating athlete needs and providing clear, accurate information about products and assortment.
• Uphold merchandising and presentation standards by following floor sets, signage, price changes, inventory presentation, replenishment, etc.
• Promote and lead company programs (loyalty, warranty sales, credit card enrollment).
• Develop 30-60-90 day plans with the Store Manager and Assistant Manager to support department priorities.
• Lead staffing and scheduling to meet athlete traffic and payroll goals.
• Establish training and development plans for teammates and handle performance reviews and recommendations.
