DICK'S Sporting Goods is looking for a Store Leader to drive customer service, merchandising excellence, and team performance. You will guide scheduling, front-end operations, and staff development to achieve store goals.

As a Head Coach, you will recruit, train, and empower teammates, implement plans, and sustain a high-energy environment focused on athlete experiences and payroll accuracy.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 1-3 years of experience.
• Previous retail/customer-facing experience required.
• Previous people leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding athlete experiences by providing knowledgeable information about products and assortment.
• Uphold merchandising and presentation standards by following floor sets, signage, price changes, and inventory presentation.
• Promote and lead company programs (customer loyalty, warranty sales, private label credit card enrollment).
• Contribute to the development of 30-60-90 day plans to support business priorities for assigned department(s).
• Help establish working plans related to staffing, hiring, and merchandising initiatives within budgets and goals.
• Execute plans and adjust as needed to meet plan duration and payroll/financial targets.
• Lead store operations including opening/closing procedures and front-end functions.
• Communicate departmental goals and workload plans to teammates to maximize efficiency.
