Job summary

DICK’S Sporting Goods is seeking a store leadership role in-store to deliver outstanding athlete experiences and drive sales performance. You will provide product knowledge, engage customers, and uphold merchandising standards while coordinating with store leadership to meet goals.

The role requires 1-3 years of retail or customer-facing experience, with leadership experience preferred. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and you will help manage scheduling and daily operations.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding athlete experiences by providing clear, accurate information about products and assortment.
• Uphold merchandising and presentation standards with floor sets, signage, price changes, and inventory presentation.
• Promote company programs (loyalty, warranty sales, private label credit card enrollment).
• Contribute to development of 30-60-90 day plans to support department priorities.
• Build and lead a strong team, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding direct reports.
• Ensure teammates are trained, coached, and held accountable for policies and procedures.
• Create a welcoming environment for teammates and athletes, and ensure safety and loss prevention measures.
