Job summary

Wild Fork stores are seeking a Store Team Lead to translate the store manager’s vision into daily action on the sales floor. You will lead the team on shifts, ensure a welcoming, customer‑ready environment, and uphold our personal chef and friendly butcher service philosophy.

You will coach Sales Associates, oversee onboarding and product knowledge, manage opening/closing routines, and maintain food safety and SOP adherence. Starting wage is $23.00 per hour with monthly bonus potential.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in retail, grocery, restaurant, or specialty food.
• Demonstrated leadership ability or prior key-holder experience preferred.
• Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to coach, motivate, and model the behaviors expected of the team.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs. and stand/walk for 8–10 hours, including freezer exposure.
• Flexible availability (mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays).
• Familiarity with POS systems, scheduling tools, or Microsoft 365 is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the store during assigned shifts, ensuring customer readiness, cleanliness, and proper coverage.
• Execute opening and closing routines as directed by the Store Manager.
• Maintain temperature logs, food safety standards, sanitation routines, and freezer management.
• Ensure accurate cash handling and adherence to SOPs.
• Mentor and coach Sales Associates to improve conversion and service.
• Reinforce product knowledge and selling behaviors through on-the-job coaching.
