Job summary

Wild Fork in Florida is seeking a Store Team Lead to translate the Store Manager’s vision into daily action on the sales floor. You will coach Sales Associates, manage opening/closing, uphold food safety, and deliver the 'personal chef & friendly butcher' service while driving sales.

This full-time role offers a starting wage of $23.00 per hour plus a monthly bonus potential, with opportunities for growth and team development.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in retail, grocery, restaurant, or specialty food.
• Demonstrated leadership ability or prior key‑holder experience preferred.
• Strong customer service, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to coach, motivate, and model the behaviors expected of the team.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, customer‑focused environment.
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs. and stand/walk for 8–10 hours, including freezer exposure.
• Flexible availability (mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays).
• Familiarity with POS systems, scheduling tools, or Microsoft 365 is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the store during assigned shifts, ensuring customer readiness, cleanliness, and proper coverage.
• Execute opening and closing routines as directed by the Store Manager.
• Maintain temperature logs, food safety standards, sanitation routines, and freezer management.
• Ensure accurate cash handling and adherence to SOPs.
• Motivate the team to engage customers, build baskets, and drive conversion.
• Deliver coaching and feedback to associates to support performance and service.
