Job summary

Pilgrim's Wild Fork team is seeking a hands-on Team Leader to translate the store manager’s vision into daily action on the sales floor. You’ll lead shifts, ensure a welcoming, customer-ready environment, and uphold our service philosophy of personal chef and friendly butcher.

You will coach Sales Associates, support onboarding and product knowledge, run operational routines, and drive a positive, high-performing team culture. Starting wage is $23 per hour with monthly bonus potential.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in retail, grocery, or specialty food.
• Demonstrated leadership ability or prior key-holder experience.
• Strong customer service, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to coach, motivate, and model the behaviors expected of the team.
• Flexible availability including mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays.
• Familiarity with POS systems, scheduling tools, or Microsoft 365 is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the store during assigned shifts, ensuring customer readiness, cleanliness, and proper coverage.
• Model and teach Wild Fork’s service steps and provide a warm, product‑focused customer experience.
• Direct floor coaching to drive conversions and maintain stock and planograms.
• Deliver on‑the‑job training for new team members and support onboarding.
• Maintain temperature logs, food safety standards, and SOP adherence.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and timely execution of promotions.
