Job summary

Rack Room Shoes is seeking a Team Lead to supervise daily store operations, ensure policy compliance, and guide staff under the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager. The role involves leadership, training, and maintaining strong customer service to meet sales and operational goals.

The Team Lead may be full- or part-time, and will assume full responsibility in the absence of store leadership, driving a positive shopping experience and efficient store execution.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and welfare of employees and customers.
• Create and maintain an excellent customer shopping experience and reinforce service standards.
• Provide service training and leadership to staff.
• Handle POS transactions in accordance with policy and procedure.
• Oversee inventory control, pricing, and physical inventory.
• Oversee sales floor merchandising, promotions, and signage.
• Schedule and payroll budget compliance; Time & Attendance.
• Train and develop direct reports and reinforce customer service standards.
• Support loss prevention and safeguarding company assets.
• Assist in day-to-day operations and support Store Manager in absence.
