Rack Room Shoes is seeking a Team Lead to supervise daily store operations, provide leadership, and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures. The role includes guiding staff, training, and assuming full responsibility in the Store Manager's absence to meet sales, service, and operational goals.

The Team Lead may be a full- or part-time management employee, focusing on safety, customer satisfaction, and efficient store performance in a dynamic retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and welfare of employees and customers.
• Create and maintain an excellent customer shopping experience; reinforce service standards.
• Provide service training and leadership to staff; supervise in the Store Manager's absence.
• Oversee POS transactions, discounts, refunds, loyalty, and opening/closing procedures.
• Drive inventory control, price changes, markdowns, and physical inventory actions.
• Supervise merchandising, housekeeping, promotions, and signage per company standards.
• Manage scheduling and payroll budget adherence; track time & attendance.
• Lead staff development and training; enforce customer service standards.
• Support loss prevention and protect company assets.
