Job summary

Lids is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead daily store operations, staff development, and exceptional customer service. You will act as manager on duty, oversee scheduling, training, and policy adherence, and ensure sales targets are met while upholding brand standards.

You will drive teamwork, discipline, and a positive store culture, while protecting company assets and delivering a high-quality retail experience for fans and customers.

Qualifications

• Established ability to produce sales results while minimizing loss.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate verbally in a clear professional manner.
• Ability to work unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Act as Manager on duty for scheduling issues, customer complaints, etc. when Store Manager is not present.
• Manage store staff through LIDS Training Programs, goal setting, and regular follow-up.
• Administer progressive discipline as needed in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Foster a respectful, inclusive team environment and adherence to Brand Standards.
• Schedule and staff the store, including handling peak periods.
• Recruit and train store personnel on proper store operations and procedures.
• Support in safeguarding company inventory, funds, and property.
• Lead customer service initiatives and achieve KPIs.
