Job summary

Lids is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead daily store operations, coach associates, and ensure exceptional customer service. You will drive sales through effective coaching, scheduling, and adherence to brand standards in a fast-paced retail environment.

As the heart of the team, you will manage POS procedures, inventory, and store presentation while supporting the Store Manager and reporting to the Store Manager. This role offers growth opportunities and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a retail team to meet sales goals and customer service standards.
• Ability to train and develop store staff using company programs and policies.
• Strong communication skills, conflict resolution, and performance coaching.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Manager on duty when Store Manager is absent; oversee scheduling and customer issues.
• Lead selling strategy to hit KPIs, manage inventory, and ensure store is clean and well merchandised.
• Supervise staff training, recruitment support, and adherence to brand standards and policies.
• Ensure accurate cash handling, opening/closing procedures, and safety practices in store.
