In the absence of the Store Manager, you will assume full responsibility for all store operations, aiming to meet or exceed sales, service, and operational goals.

Responsibilities

• Primary responsibility is the safety and welfare of employees and customers.
• Create and maintain an excellent customer shopping experience and service levels.
• Lead staff with training and direction from Store Manager and Assistant Manager.
• Ensure POS transactions comply with policy including sales, discounts, refunds, and loyalty.
• Oversee inventory control: shipping/receiving, price changes, markdowns, damaged merchandise, physical inventory.
• Lead merchandising and visual presentation to meet company standards.
• Manage payroll-related tasks: scheduling, budget compliance, time and attendance.
• Develop direct reports: training tools usage and consistent customer service standards.
• Support loss prevention and protection of company assets.
• Contribute to day-to-day operations and store performance.
