Job summary

Wild Fork is seeking a Store Team Lead to guide daily operations, coach the sales team, and deliver an outstanding customer experience. The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, training, and adherence to food safety and SOPs on the sales floor.

You will lead during shifts, manage coverage, and drive sales through coaching, product knowledge, and service standards while maintaining a welcoming, high-performance store environment.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in retail, grocery, restaurant, or specialty food.
• Demonstrated leadership ability or prior key-holder experience.
• Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to coach, motivate, and model the behaviors expected of the team.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs. and stand/walk for 8-10 hours, including freezer exposure.
• Flexible availability (mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays).
• Familiarity with POS systems, scheduling tools, or Microsoft 365 is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the store during assigned shifts, ensuring customer readiness, cleanliness, and proper coverage.
• Model and teach Wild Fork’s service standards and coach team on the floor.
• Drive sales and customer experience with product knowledge and tips.
• Support onboarding, training, and ongoing coaching of associates.
• Maintain inventory, merchandising, and in-stock execution with urgency.
• Ensure compliance with safety, SOPs, and quality standards.
