Job summary

Wild Fork Foods is hiring a Store Team Lead in Florida. You will lead the sales floor during shifts, coach associates, and ensure a welcoming, customer-ready environment aligned with the Wild Fork service approach.

You will oversee training, SOPs, safety, and daily operations, while supporting hiring, onboarding, and performance feedback for Forkies. This role emphasizes hands-on leadership and store excellence.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years in retail, grocery, restaurant, or specialty foods.
• Demonstrated leadership or key-holder experience preferred.
• Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to coach, motivate, and model expected behaviors.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk 8–10 hours with freezer exposure.
• Flexible availability: mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays.
• Familiar with POS, scheduling tools, or Microsoft 365 is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the store during assigned shifts, ensuring readiness and coverage.
• Perform opening/closing routines per Store Manager guidance.
• Maintain temperature logs and food safety, sanitation, and freezer management.
• Ensure accurate cash handling and adherence to SOPs.
• Identify operational gaps and elevate appropriately.
• Adjust priorities and team focus based on traffic and sales.
