Job summary

Wild Fork Foods is seeking a Team Leader to drive daily store operations and deliver the brand’s personal chef and friendly butcher service on the sales floor.

You will guide and coach Sales Associates, support onboarding, training, and SOPs, while ensuring a welcoming, customer-ready environment and meeting daily sales targets. This hands-on role emphasizes execution, employee development, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in retail, grocery, restaurant, or specialty food.
• Demonstrated leadership ability or prior key-holder experience preferred.
• Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to coach, motivate, and model the behaviors expected of the team.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand/walk for 8–10 hours, including freezer exposure.
• Flexible availability (mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays).
• Familiarity with POS systems, scheduling tools, or Microsoft 365 is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the store during assigned shifts to ensure readiness, cleanliness, and proper coverage.
• Model Wild Fork’s W.I.L.D Steps of Service and deliver a personal chef experience.
• Coach and develop team on product knowledge, onboarding, and SOPs.
• Maintain accurate cash handling and adherence to SOPs.
• Oversee inventory, merchandising, and in-stock execution.
• Uphold safety and sanitation standards and support daily temperature checks.
