Job summary

Rack Room Shoes in Lexington, KY is seeking a Team Lead to assist in supervising day-to-day store operations, ensuring policy compliance, and stepping in for store managers when needed. You will provide leadership, coaching and training to the store staff and work to meet sales, service and operational goals.

You will oversee customer experience, POS transactions, inventory control, merchandising, scheduling and payroll, and loss prevention.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day store operations and ensure policy compliance.
• Provide leadership, guidance and training to staff as directed by management.
• Maintain customer experience and handle POS transactions per policy.
• Oversee inventory control, pricing, and physical inventory processes.
• Manage merchandising standards and visual presentation.
• Oversee payroll scheduling and attendance, and control payroll budget.
• Train and develop direct reports and reinforce customer service standards.
• Execute loss prevention and protect company assets.
• Aim to operate daily store activities smoothly in manager's absence.
