Job summary

Lids is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Nashville to lead daily store operations, drive sales, and deliver exceptional customer service. The role oversees staffing, training, merchandising, and adherence to brand standards, while maintaining a positive team environment.

The position supports the Store Manager and reports to store leadership, with a focus on performance metrics and store profitability.

Qualifications

• Established ability to produce sales results while minimizing loss.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate verbally in a professional manner.
• Ability to work unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Act as Manager on duty for scheduling issues or customer complaints when Store Manager is not present.
• Manage store associates through training programs and goal setting.
• Administer discipline through verbal and written warnings in the Store Manager's absence.
• Engage the team by creating a fun and productive environment aligned with company objectives.
• Maintain brand standards in dress and store appearance.
• Schedule and staff the store, including covering peaks when needed.
• Assist in recruiting and training store personnel on operations and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with policies and procedures and safeguard inventory.
