Lids Sports Group is seeking an Assistant Store Manager for its Nashville, TN location. You will lead daily store operations, drive sales, and coach a team to deliver top-notch customer service while upholding brand standards and policies.

As the heart of the store, you will ensure scheduling, employee development, and adherence to procedures, contributing to a fun, inclusive environment and a seamless customer experience.

Qualifications

• Establishing ability to produce sales results while minimizing loss.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate verbally in a clear professional manner.
• Ability to work unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Act as Manager on duty for scheduling issues and customer complaints when Store Manager is not present.
• Manage store associates through training programs, goal setting, and follow-up.
• Administer progressive discipline, including verbal and written warnings when needed.
• Engage team members by creating a fun, productive environment while aligning with company objectives.
• Contribute to a respectful, inclusive team environment and adherence to Brand Standards.
• Schedule and staff the store, including coverage for peaks when needed.
• Assist in recruiting and training store personnel on operations and procedures.
• Encourage compliance with company policies, safeguarding inventory and funds.
