Job summary

Lids is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead daily store operations, drive sales, and deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced retail environment. You will supervise staff, schedule shifts, train teammates, and uphold store standards while ensuring loss prevention and accurate cash handling.

Qualifications

• Established ability to drive sales results while minimizing loss.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate verbally in a clear professional manner.
• Ability to work unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Act as Manager on duty for scheduling issues, customer complaints, etc. when Store Manager is not present.
• Manage store associates through LIDS Training Programs, goal setting, and regular follow up.
• Administer the progressive steps of discipline to include verbal and written warnings in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Engage team members by creating a fun and productive environment and aligning work with company objectives.
• Contribute to a respectful and inclusive team environment and adhere to Brand Standards.
• Schedule and staff the store including coverage during peaks when the Store Manager is absent.
• Assist in recruiting and training store personnel on proper store operations and procedures.
• Encourage compliance with policies, safeguarding inventory, funds and property.
• Other duties as assigned.
