Job summary

Rack Room Shoes in Texas is seeking a Team Lead to supervise daily store operations and ensure compliance with company policies. You will provide leadership, training, and direction to store staff under Store Manager guidance, stepping in when managers are absent.

Key duties include maintaining excellent customer service, managing POS transactions, inventory control, merchandising, scheduling, payroll, and loss prevention.

Responsibilities

• Create, establish and maintain an excellent customer shopping experience and service standards.
• Process POS transactions, discounts, refunds, loyalty, and opening/closing procedures per policy.
• Oversee inventory control: shipping/receiving, price changes, markdowns, singles, damaged merchandise, physical inventories.
• Manage merchandising and visual presentation to company standards on the sales floor.
• Control payroll-related tasks: scheduling, payroll budget compliance, time and attendance.
• Train and develop direct reports, reinforce customer service standards, and follow policies.
• Support loss prevention efforts to safeguard company assets and store operations.
