Job summary

Rack Room Shoes is seeking a Team Lead to supervise daily store operations, mentor staff, and ensure policy compliance under Store Manager guidance. The role may be full- or part-time and requires leadership, service excellence, and solid organizational skills.

You will handle customer service, POS operations, merchandising, payroll basics, and loss prevention while maintaining a safe, welcoming shopping environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day store operations in the absence of Store Manager and Assistant Manager.
• Create, establish and maintain an excellent customer shopping experience with high service standards.
• Handle all POS terminal transactions in accordance with policy and procedure.
• Inventory control and price management, including markdowns and damages.
• Merchandising and visual presentation to company standards.
• Payroll control, scheduling and attendance responsibilities.
• Training and development of direct reports and adherence to policies.
• Loss prevention and protection of company assets.
• Develop a practical understanding of managing daily operations.
