Job summary

Lids Sports Group is hiring an Assistant Store Manager to lead store operations, training, and customer service. You’ll act as manager on duty, schedule staff, and coach a team to deliver exceptional sales and service in a fast-paced retail environment.

You'll drive KPIs, maintain visual standards, manage cash, and support inventory activities while upholding Lids brand standards and a fun, inclusive culture.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to achieve sales targets while reducing shrinkage.
• Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Act as Manager on duty for scheduling issues and customer complaints.
• Lead staff through training programs and goal setting.
• Manage staffing, discipline, and performance.
• Foster an inclusive, respectful team environment.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Support recruiting and training store personnel.
• Drive selling strategies to meet KPIs and sales targets.
• Maintain store appearance and visual standards.
• Oversee cash handling and safety procedures.
• Prepare for inventory and assist audits.
• Open and close store per SOP.
