Job summary

Lids Sports Group is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead daily store operations, drive sales, and deliver exceptional customer service. This role reports to the Store Manager and requires strong leadership, organizational, and people skills to motivate a diverse team across all aspects of the store.

As a cap expert in a fast-paced retail environment, you will oversee scheduling, training, and in-store experiences while ensuring adherence to company standards and policies.

Qualifications

• Established ability to produce sales results while minimizing loss.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate verbally in a clear professional manner.
• Ability to work unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Act as Manager on duty for scheduling issues and customer complaints.
• Lead store associates through LIDS Training Programs, goal setting, and follow-up.
• Administer progressive discipline as needed in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Recruiting and training store personnel on proper store operations and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety, and inventory control.
