Job summary

Lids Sports Group is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead store operations, coach sales staff, and deliver outstanding customer service in a fast-paced licensed sports retail environment.

As the heart of the store, you will schedule shifts, train teammates, handle customer feedback, maintain visual standards, and uphold company policies while driving sales and KPI results.

You will be the on-site leader, ensuring a positive team culture and seamless daily operations across all departments.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail management preferred
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to lead a team and manage schedules
• Knowledge of store operations and loss prevention

Responsibilities

• Act as Manager on duty for scheduling issues when Store Manager is not present.
• Manage store associates through training programs and regular follow up.
• Administer the progressive steps of discipline to include verbal and written warning in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Engage team members by creating a productive environment and aligning work with store objectives.
• Recruiting and training store personnel on proper operations and procedures.
• Encourage compliance with company policies and safeguard inventory and funds.
• Lead selling strategy to achieve KPIs, sales targets, and customer service excellence.
• Address customer feedback and escalations to resolve issues on the spot.
• Maintain visual standards, signage, and store cleanliness.
• Execute operations directives and promotions.
