Lids Sports Group is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Aurora, IL to lead daily store operations and deliver exceptional customer service. You will oversee staff, scheduling, training, and adherence to brand standards, while driving sales and store performance.

As a key leader, you will manage POS systems, merchandising, and inventory controls, ensuring a welcoming, inclusive store environment and meeting company goals.

Qualifications

• Established ability to produce sales results while minimizing loss.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate verbally in a clear professional manner.
• Ability to work unsupervised.

Responsabilités

• Act as Manager on duty for scheduling issues and customer complaints when Store Manager is not present.
• Manage store associates through training programs and goal setting with regular follow-ups.
• Administer progressive discipline including verbal and written warnings in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Create a fun, productive environment and ensure policies are followed.
• Schedule and staff the store, including calling in associates for peaks.
• Recruit and train store personnel on operations and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and safe handling of inventory and cash.
• Assist in executing merchandising, pricing, and promotional changes.
• Support in inventory accuracy and store readiness for audits.
