Lids Sports Group in Norridge, IL is seeking an Assistant Store Manager for a part-time role. You will lead store operations, coach associates, ensure exceptional customer service, and uphold the Lids brand standards across all duties.

Responsibilities include staff scheduling, training, inventory awareness, and executing sales strategies to meet KPIs. The position reports to the Store Manager and supports a dynamic retail environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to work without direct supervision.

Responsibilities

• Act as Manager on Duty for scheduling issues and customer concerns when Store Manager is absent.
• Lead store associates through training programs and goal setting; provide follow-up.
• Administer progressive discipline as needed in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Foster a respectful, inclusive team environment aligned with brand standards.
• Schedule and staff the store to cover peaks when the Store Manager is unavailable.
• Assist in recruiting and training store personnel on operations and procedures.
• Drive selling strategy to achieve KPIs and deliver exceptional customer service.
• Maintain store visual guidelines, merchandising, cleanliness, and signage.
• Open/close the store following Operations guidelines.
