Job summary

CNG Holdings, Inc. operates brands including Check N Go, Allied Cash Advance, and Cash Store. The Assistant Store Manager oversees daily store operations with a focus on exceptional customer service and regulatory compliance.

You will educate customers on products, process transactions (loans, check cashing, Net Spend), and lead a team to meet sales and service goals while maintaining strong cash controls and adherence to policy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• 1+ year of experience with sales, customer service, and/or cash handling preferred.
• Strong customer service, active listening, and verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in an autonomous environment.
• Must have own personal reliable transportation, valid Driver’s License and automobile insurance.
• Ability and willingness to embrace core values of accountability, inclusivity, transparency, and focus.

Responsibilities

• Educate customers on the product portfolio and present options meeting their needs.
• Escalate issues to store leadership or corporate as needed.
• Answer telephone inquiries and process customer applications or requests.
• Perform outbound customer interactions including sales, courtesy, and compliant collections.
• Respond professionally and explain solutions to customers to ensure they feel supported.
• Interact with customers using active listening to clarify information and diffuse complaints.
• Handle and count currency, manage cash drawer, deposits, and safe transfers.
• Balance batch receipts with sales reports and resolve discrepancies.
• Conduct customer verifications and process transactions per policy (loans, check cashing, Net Spend).
• Comply with federal/state regulations and company policies; complete trainings.
