Job summary

CNG Holdings, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to serve as a front-line brand ambassador for Check N Go, Allied Cash Advance, or Cash Store.

You will ensure outstanding customer service and regulatory compliance while managing daily store operations. You will educate customers on product options, handle cash responsibly, perform transactions, and escalate issues as needed to maintain service quality and policy adherence in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• 1+ year(s) of experience with sales, customer service, and/or cash handling preferred.
• Strong customer service, active listening, and verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in an autonomous environment.
• Must have own personal reliable transportation with valid Driver’s License and Automobile Insurance.
• Ability and willingness to embody core values: accountable, inclusive, transparent, and focused.

Responsibilities

• Serve and educate customers on the product portfolio by presenting all options for products and/or services to meet their needs.
• Escalate issues to the store manager, District Director of Operations, and corporate office if unable to resolve the issue directly with the customer.
• Answer telephone inquiries in response to general questions, customer applications, requests, or other issues.
• Perform outbound customer sales, courtesy, and collection calls in accordance with federal regulations and procedures.
• Respond professionally and accurately to customers, explaining possible solutions and ensuring the customer feels supported and valued.
• Interact with customers using active listening to confirm or clarify information and diffuse customer complaints.
• Handle and count currency, cash, and coins; manage cash drawer and deposits; may include bank deposits or pickups.
• Balance batch receipts with store sales reports and assist with resolving discrepancies.
• Perform customer verifications to validate information presented.
• Process all transactions accurately per policy, including loans, check cashing, and Net Spend.
• Comply with federal/state regulations and company policies.
• Complete compliance trainings and timely I Agree acknowledgments.
• Other duties as assigned.
