Job summary

CNG Holdings, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to serve as a front-line brand ambassador for Check N Go, Allied Cash Advance, or Cash Store.

You will ensure outstanding customer service and regulatory excellence while supporting store goals. In this role, you will educate customers on the product portfolio, handle cash responsibly, process transactions, and escalate issues to management when needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
• 1+ year of experience with sales, customer service, and/or cash handling
• Strong customer service, active listening, and verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in an autonomous environment
• Must have own personal reliable transportation in compliance with published policy and procedure, this may not include public transportation, transportation from family or friends, must maintain a valid Driver’s License and valid Automobile Insurance while employed by the company
• Ability and willingness to consistently live and embrace our core values of accountable, inclusive, transparent, and focused

Responsibilities

• Educate customers on the product portfolio by presenting options that meet their needs
• Escalate issues to the store manager, District Director of Operations, and corporate office when needed
• Answer telephone inquiries and assist with applications
• Perform outbound sales, courtesy, and collection calls per regulations and procedures
• Respond professionally to customers and explain possible solutions
• Interact with customers using active listening to confirm information and diffuse complaints
• Handle and count currency, cash, and coins including managing a cash drawer
• Balance batch receipts with store sales reports and resolve discrepancies
• Process all transactions accurately and per company policy (loans, check cashing, Net Spend)
• Comply with federal and state regulations and company policies
• Complete compliance trainings and quarterly I Agree timely
• Other duties as assigned
