Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in a retail environment.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists the direct leader with supervising day-to-day store activities.
• Develops and implements action plans to improve operating results.
• Establishes and communicates job responsibilities and performance expectations to direct reports.
• Identifies training and development opportunities for direct reports.
• Models company values and fosters teamwork among employees.
• Monitors competitive environment and informs leadership of necessary adjustments.
• Provides product feedback and recommends items to carry or discontinue.
• Participates in interviewing store personnel.
• Ensures inventory procedures, product handling, and cash control policies are followed.
• Resolves customer concerns in the absence of the direct leader.
• Maintains store cleanliness and proper signage.
• Maintains stock levels through appropriate product ordering.
• Merchandises products to maximize sales.
• Ensures quality and freshness of products and accurate signage.
• Supports payroll, loss prevention, and training of new employees.
• Supervises day-to-day operations and escalates issues when needed.
• Ensures assigned responsibilities are completed with high customer service levels.
