Job summary

ALDI USA is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Dearborn, Michigan. You will support the direct leader in supervising daily store activities, shaping performance, managing schedules, and developing action plans to grow the team.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of progressive experience in a retail environment
• Prior management experience preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Assist with developing and implementing action plans to improve operating results
• Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to direct reports
• Identify training opportunities for direct reports
• Model company values and maintain teamwork
• Monitor competitive environment and adjust operations accordingly
• Provide product feedback and supplier recommendations
• Participate in interviewing store personnel
• Maintain store cleanliness, signage, and inventory procedures
• Assist with stock levels, product ordering, and loss prevention
• Ensure customer service excellence and proper cash control
