Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• A minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in a retail environment.
• Prior management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the direct supervisor with developing and implementing action plans to improve operating results.
• Establish job responsibilities and performance expectations for direct reports.
• Identify training and development opportunities for team members.
• Model company values to promote teamwork and engagement.
• Monitor competitive environment and suggest adjustments to maintain position.
• Provide product feedback and recommendations on items to carry or discontinue.
• Participate in interviewing store personnel.
• Communicate key information weekly and at milestones.
• Ensure inventory and cash handling policies are followed and losses minimized.
• Resolve operational customer concerns in the supervisor’s absence.
• Identify hazards and maintain store equipment safely.
• Maintain store cleanliness and signage.
• Assist with stock levels and product ordering.
• Merchandise products to maximize sales and ensure signage accuracy.
• Support payroll and loss prevention goals; assist with training new employees.
• Supervise day-to-day team operations and escalate issues when needed.
• Ensure reports and duties are completed timely and accurately.
