Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. You will lead the team in serving customers and manage the store during the Store Manager’s absence, including opposing shifts.

Responsibilities include supervising service levels, staffing during peak hours, assisting in hiring, and ensuring timely processing of orders, returns, and invoicing per policy. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Must have Sales Specialist Training, Assistant Manager Certification and RSS Certification.
• Desired: Certified Parts Professional Certification; ASE Certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Lead the store team in delivering excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels on the showroom, ensuring staff execute service programs.
• Work with the store manager to ensure adequate staffing during peak hours.
• Assist the store manager in hiring tasks and interviews; help select qualified team members.
• Ensure calls are answered per company policy and processes are followed.
• Oversee buy online/ship to store, hub transfers, and DC add orders processing.
• Ensure returns and exchanges are processed accurately and refunds issued correctly.
