Job summary

Five Below, Inc. is seeking an Interim Support Lead to help deliver an outstanding shopping experience in a fast-paced retail environment in New Orleans. You will support front-end operations, cash management, merchandising, cleanliness, safety, and drive sales.

You will act as Manager on Duty during shifts, oversee staff performance, and assist with onboarding and training. The role provides leadership exposure during peak seasons and coverage for leave of absence.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 years of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Creative thinking.
• Ability to maintain composure under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Ensures all crew members are Wowing the Customer through personal contact with customers.
• Trains the crew on the BEST customer service experience; ensuring fast, friendly checkout.
• Oversee daily activities of all store associates, ensuring duties are performed effectively.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock for quick placement on the sales floor.
• Act as Manager on Duty, taking full responsibility for store operations and staff.
• Open or close the store, securing cash, locking doors, and setting alarms.
