Job summary

Five Below is seeking a Store Manager on Duty–level candidate to uphold exceptional customer service and store operations in Garner, NC. You will lead crew, train staff, and manage daily activities to ensure a fast, friendly checkout and accurate stock handling.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent is required.
• Management experience of 1 year or more preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and stay organized.
• Creative thinking and problem-solving under pressure.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule including weekends and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Wows customers through personal contact and service.
• Trains crew on the customer service experience and ensures fast, friendly checkout.
• Oversees daily activities of store associates for excellent service.
• Assists with receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock for quick shelf placement.
• Acts as Manager on Duty, overseeing store operations, staff, and urgent issues.
• Manages opening/closing procedures including cash, doors, and alarms.
• Supports onboarding and ongoing training of associates.
• Drives store sales and controls expenses through merchandising and staff performance.
• Partners with store leadership on merchandising procedures and World Recovery.
• Performs store maintenance tasks such as cleaning and stock room upkeep.
