Job summary

Michaels is hiring at the Salinas, CA location to deliver friendly customer service and assist customers in-store with locating products and solutions. You’ll participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planograms to keep the store well-merchandised and in-stock while processing transactions with accurate cash handling.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred
• Public retail store setting requiring standing, lifting, and moving around the store

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes
• Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance including returns and go-backs
• Support Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies; interact respectfully with customers and team members
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
