Job summary

Michaels is hiring a Store Associate to deliver friendly customer service, help shoppers locate products, and ensure a fast checkout experience. You will participate in unloading trucks, stocking merchandise, and maintaining planograms to keep the store well merchandised and in stock.

Responsibilities include assisting customers, enrolling them in rewards, and supporting omni-channel processes like BOPIS and SFS, while upholding SOPs and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lb.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in locating products and providing solutions.
• Handle fast, friendly checkout with accurate cash handling.
• Inform customers about Rewards and Private Label Credit Cards and enroll them.
• Support omnichannel programs including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Help unload trucks and stock shelves; maintain planograms (POGs).
• Maintain in-stock conditions and perform merchandise recovery.
