Job summary

Michaels Stores in San Mateo, CA is hiring store team members to deliver friendly customer service, help customers find products, and ensure fast checkout experiences. You will assist with merchandise stocking, POS transactions, and omni-channel processes such as Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS), while upholding store recovery standards.

The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and adherence to SOPs, with opportunities to cross-train in framing sales and other store-wide

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform duties.
• Friendly and helpful demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide fast and friendly checkout with cash handling to standards.
• Educate customers on the Rewards program and enroll them.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes.
• Maintain in-stock store and merchandise recovery.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
• Other duties as assigned.
