Job summary

Michaels Stores in Mission Viejo, CA, seeks team members to deliver friendly customer service, assist shoppers, and ensure a fast checkout experience. You will unload trucks, stock merchandise, and participate in planogram and recovery activities to keep the store well-merchandised and in stock.

The role includes engagement with rewards programs, omni-channel processes, and adherence to SOPs, with opportunities to cross-train in framing-related tasks.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Michaels requires all team members in this role to be at least sixteen (16) years or older.
• Applicants in the U.S. must satisfy federal, state, and local legal requirements of the job.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
• Ensure merchandise recovery and maintenance; manage returns/go back process and store recovery.
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Adhere to SOPs and Company policies; interact respectfully and professionally.
